My (12 year old) son and I have just got back from Seville. Gutted,
worn-out and in need of a good kip but we can never feel any closer to
that team we call the Celtic. To be perfectly honest I'm still trying to
take it all in - our fans, our team, the Portuguese Olympic Diving Team
and the wank of a referee who would be hard pushed to officiate at a
junior (as in weans) fitba' match never mind the second most important
club match in the world.

The events leading up to and in Seville have firmly put our club back on
the map in European and global terms. We should no longer be seen as a
biggish club in a small league. We are a global giant who in terms of
our worldwide support who can rub sholders with the likes of Real Madrid
and ManU. No other club has come close at bring so many fans together
for a European away fixture and none will. If/when we get to another
European final we will do it all again.

Uefa must now sit up and take notice as the TV people surely will. They
can no longer put obstacles in our way to stop us reaching our real
potential. We must be allowed to compete in a league (EPL or
Atlantic)which puts us on a level playing field with the world's other
great clubs. They ignore us at their peril.

Hail! Hail!
